job summary Our client is seeking a skilled drafter for a 6-month contract-to-hire role in steel building solutions. In this position, you will create detailed shop and erection drawings for pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) and structural steel. If you have a 2-year technical degree and or 2 years of CAD experience. location: Kansas City, Missouri job type: Contract salary: $26 - 27 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Associates responsibilities Create detailed shop, fabrication, and erection drawings for pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) structures. Interpret structural engineering plans and convert them into fabrication-ready drawings and layouts. Detail connections, anchor bolts, framing layouts, and panel systems using CAD software. Perform algebraic and trigonometric calculations to ensure drafting accuracy and precision.
