Job Description

Summary: Responsible for directing, developing, and overseeing the general heath and safety policies and procedures of the organization. Responsibilities: Ensuring the organization is in compliance with OSHA and other state, local, or industry specific regulations

Provides programs that ensure a safe workplace including; safety orientations, skill training, emergency preparedness, proper job instruction, the use of protective equipment, and more Develops a systemic process to collect data and analyze the causes of accidents and generate reporting Coordinating, administering, and implementing comprehensive training programs in occupational, industrial, and environmental safety Implements initiatives to reduce and prevent accidents Conducts regular safety audits Familiarity with an LMS system Required Skills and Experience: Thorough knowledge of all aspects of safety and Operator Qualifications (OQ) Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs, especially Excel & Word. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Highly self-motivated and directed Keen attention to detail Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Flexible and adaptable regarding learning new tasks Encompass Services, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
